  • I’ve seen your theme before and I like it, but it is very difficult to read your articles. I think you need to increase the opacity of the main body. Unfortunately, that will make the background less visible.

    Good Luck,

    Thanks Nick
I also noticed it, but haven’t yet found another theme that seems satisfying. It might be possible, though, to increase the opacity -I havn’t checked, but surely will.
Anyways I appreciate your comment. Thank you.

I agree with roostertail. Another option, which might actually be easier would be to turn down the saturation and maybe lighten up the background some. That would make the picture still visible but less intrusive.

And the best part about that option is there would be no need to mess with the code.

I have just looked through the options (even looked at the code for the theme), but I couldn’t find any obvious thing to do.
Even though I love this theme, I might change it, because of readability ??

OK, now I changed the theme. This one is very useful and beautiful, I think. What do you think?

I did like the other one better. This one looks more like a blog on gardening or lawn maintenance.
For the option I mentioned do this:

    • go into your wp-content/themes/theme’s name/images folder.
    • Find the background image.
    • Open it in a paint program. I would say PhotoShop, if you don’t have it GIMP will do just as good.
    • Select the whole image.
    • Turn the saturation down, and lighten it a little. How much or how little is a matter of artistic sensibility.
    • Save the image

    That’s it! No coding needed.

    Thank you jon!

That is a brillant idea. If I had kept the theme, I would do as you propose.
But I looked for another theme and I found one, that I personally find very pleasing and in tune with the overall theme of my blog.
I also have categorized my links and work on getting backlinks ??
    Hope you’ll like it

    Comments are always welcome

hee-hee yea, it has an air of lawn and gardening. I might try the first one again and modify it as you suggested

If you do, let me know. I’ll be watching.

Also another suggestion: how about including some information on human generated energy. Stuff like pedal power and at al.

Though not as glorious as solar or wind power, it’s low cost means that the entry bar for that kind of alternative energy is a lot lower and more accessible for most.

No to mention that it’s also a good way to keep in shape while helping out the environment.

your website is well designed friend. however i will notify you if i found something to change..all the best.
