Print out Title of an Archive in Archive.php

  • So I created a custom Archive.php page but I can’t get it to print out the title.

    e.g. Archives for March 2011

    I’ve tried

    Archives for <?php the_title() ?>

    But it prints the title for the first list in that archive.

    How do I print out the date for that archive?
