    Hello:

I am not sure what happened, but I used to have one link for each of my posts on the left side of the blog main page but now they are gone. It might have something to do when I changed/updated the categories for my posts. There has to be a simple solution to this, as the links automatically populate on the left side of my main page right after I publish a post. Is there a plugin/widget I need to move to the main page sidebar for this to work. I tried all the plugs availabe, but could not find any that works.

    Can anyone help?

Here is my blog: https://www.amtb-minn.org/wordpress. Where there are “Archives” and “Categories”, there were 13 individual links each pointing to the respective posts with the names of the posts as the title of the links. This all happened automatically once I published the posts.

If anyone has a solution to this, I would really appreciate it.

    Thanks

  • it could have been a hard-coded placeholder in the sidebar – and when you use widget, these will be replaced by ‘real’ widgets
    – try to use the ‘recent posts’ widget (from ‘appearance’ ‘widgets’)

Thank you, Alchymyth. The “Recent Post” widget solved my problem. Much appreciated.
