Creating my menus

I am trying to set up my menus. I watched a tutorial on how to do so. I made my pages, gave my menu a name, and selected what pages go in that menu. When I view my site, nothing changed. No menus present whatsoever. I made sure that I saved my changes before publishing. Help!
