Ongoing Issues with Incoming Links

  • A search for “link:https://www.chriscolotti.us/” in Google Blog-search results in no pages. This may be the cause of your problems. Try it out and see for yourself.

    Sorry if the answer is too obvious (and thus often wrong).

    Remember; incoming links are not your indexed pages – it is websites linking to you (and Google seldom reports more than 5-10% of all incoming links – probably due to dataminers).

    Interesting because I do know of places where I am linked from other bloggers as well as other sites. I was not clear on the whole string I was only focussed on the https://www.xxxxxx part I did not actually notice the link: portion. Ah well was not sure if there was a way to optomize for that.
