  • I have the same issue.

anyone have any advice. I’m upgrading from 3.1.4 and once I run the auto update in the dashboard, it all updates fine.

I’ll go into the Appearance menu and then Widgets, I can’t move any widgets about and when I try to expand them in my widget zone, they expand the header/title bar but don’t show any settings.

    Very weird?

Need this to work before I upgrade.

Hope you guys can point me in the right direction ??

Are you talking about “wordpress admin Dashboard->Appearance-> widgets”? If so, then it is some javascript conflict. First try with other browsers like chrome or FF. If not working, then Check your plugins and theme. Deactivate them all and check. Then one-by-one reactivate them and check. Put default theme and check. Otherwise to work for the time being, see the ‘screen options’ at the top right corner of wordpress widgets area and there click on ‘Enable accessibility mode’.

    thnx for the reply debajyoti

will give that a try later on and report back with findings

I have the same problem. For me, this is caused by the following line:

    <script type="text/javascript" src="https://meanderend.dixis.com//ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.6.1/jquery.min.js?ver=3.2.1"></script>

It adds my root-url to the jquery url. Not sure how I should fix this.

Amazing, I had to switch to the default theme to get things working again.
