Permalinks again

You should not put your url in the permalink window.

I know.
I tried both /%postname% and when it didn’t word I tried with the URL.
Still no success.

you need to set your permissions on you .htaccess file

if you are able to log into your platform you can edit the htaccess file from there. edit as in change the permissions so that wordpress can write to it.

There are special considerations here as htacess does not work on a windows server.

Can you give more details about the special considerations you mentioned.
As you mentioned htacess is not a windows server file.
I believe web.config has that functionality for the windows servers.

@tari72 Yes, web.config is what you use. I was just telling keyaspects that the htaccess doesn’t work.
