Password Protected Pages

  • Didn’t really know where to post this.. So I hope this is the correct place.

    Recently, I’ve been trying to password protect a page. Everything is working fine(creating the page, setting it to password protected, adding password etc).. however, when it comes to typing the password in, it doesn’t actually work.

    I type the password in and press submit. Then, the page loads, and just brings me back to type the password in again. The password is correct! I copied and pasted, typed it..and it just doesn’t work.

    Can anyone help me?

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    I’ve just deactivated allt he plugins and it still continues to do the problem.
