[Theme: Twenty Eleven] Static Post for index

  • Why not use a static page instead of a post? Look under Settings -> Reading to set a static page as the home page.

    thank you,just one more quick question is there a setting that allows for comments on every page but that one?

    When you edit that page, you should see a Discussion box underneath the content area.

    (If you don’t, check under the Screen Options tab in the upper right and see if “Discussion” is checked–if it’s not, check it!)

    You can enable/disable comments per page in that section.

    ah ha! that is where that option was…twas unchecked….thanks 4 ur help ??
