Problem uploading header while using multi-site

    I know this question has been asked a lot but after trying all the solutions I could find I still cant fix the problem.

    So after creating my multi-site I go to upload a header image and I get this error:

    Unable to create directory /home/content/58/8253458/html/wp-content/blogs.dir/2/files/2011/08. Is its parent directory writable by the server?

    I tried changing wp_content permissions to 777. I tried changing the blogs.dir to 777 but still nothing.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

    I figured it out.

    When following the directions for a multi-site it says to create a blogs.dir in your wp-content folder. I had no idea what that meant so I made a file called blogs.dir. I deleted that and made a folder called blogs.dir and it works fine now.

    Why not just say “Make a folder called blogs.dir”? :/

    Anyway, works now.
