• After I upgraded to 3.2.1 all of the functionality driven by Javascript on my Add New Post page stopped working. So I can’t use the formatting buttons, I can’t schedule the time of the post, can’t add tags, etc. Any suggestions? Has anyone seen this before? I’m out of options and really don’t want to have to wipe my install and start again. Thanks.

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress.

I tried the first one but not the last three so I’ll give those a shot. Thanks.

How do you reset the plugins folder? What do I do once I FTP in?

See the link I posted above.
