• Yesterdat, I received this message after posting https://www.abstractmath.org/Word%20Press/?p=2126

I have installed the Wolfram CDF player on both my laptop running Windows XP and IE8, and on my desktop running Vista and IE9. On neither do I see buttons or sliders for the Picturing Derivatives post on Gyre&Gimble.

Note that I have no trouble, as far as I can tell, on Wolfram Demonstrations Project (https://demonstrations.wolfram.com/).

The blog worked properly for me on Firefox.

I tried in on IE8 using XP, and the slider and buttons showed up (and worked) as they are supposed to, but the blog showed up using the coloring from the old Gyre&Gimble at https://sixwingedseraph.wordpress.com/
(read about the coloring problem at https://www.abstractmath.org/Word%20Press/?p=2155#comment-261)!

On Chrome the problem did show up exactly as the writer described it.

So I made the vertical space bigger in the embedding code. This made the vertical space bigger in all three viewers but the buttons and slider were still cut off in Chrome (only). By the way, the arrow at the top right corner (which runs the demo on automatic) does work correctly in Chrome, so CDF Player is correctly installed in my copy of Chrome.
