Hi,
I tried this plugin, which seems to do a great job.
I don’t want all the plugin’s data and logs to be saved in the db, so I set the ‘Data Save Method’ to File.

This way – I do not get any email notification (when saving to database – I do get them).
I’ve tried to temporarily change the permissions of the folder
wp-content/plugins/wordpress-file-monitor-plus/data/ to 777

Then I see after a check a new file is being written (.sc_wpfmp_scan_data) but still there is no mail sent (and I changed some files in order to have some changes to report).

I’d appreciate your help setting up this plugin.

Can you enabled debugging and run a manual scan. Is anything reported?

Somehow it has started sending emails now , I have done nothing that might have cause it start working. I hope it will stay persistent..

I’ve encountered another issue, is when I activate the Admin Alert, I get the alert with the button to “View file changes and clear this alert”

I get a lightbox window with the list of changed files, but I couldn’t find any way (button/link or so) that will clear the alert, and that alert stays on all the time. How could this alert be cleared?

If you take a look at screen shots https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/wordpress-file-monitor-plus/screenshots/ you can see where a clear admin alert should be.

There should be one at the top of the list and one at the bottom.

Also the two links should appear in the email you recieved.

If you cannot find the link then use this URL:

I just don’t have the “Remove Admin Alert” button for some reason, it is not appearing there..

It might be an issue to ask my users to manually enter this link.

I use the Hebrew version of WP, and it might be something with CSS or so.
I’ll try later to figure out where is that button and report here if I find something.
