• I, being an idiot, accidentally upgrade to the newest version of the Suffusion theme without migrating settings, nor was the original site backed up anywhere. Here is the site: https://thecurrent-online.com/

I have a stupid question: How do I get rid of that index post in the middle without taking down the entire site? (whenever I try, it “Page not Found”s).

How do I enable drop down menus? For example under “About Us” would be “Employment”, “Policies”, “Advertising” etc. The pages are made, I just am not sure how to make this happen.

Also ANY tips/suggestions regarding layout or aesthetics are GREATLY appreciated as I’m relatively new at this (obviously).

  • You are probably best asking this on the theme’s dedicated forum: https://www.aquoid.com/forum

Unfortunately I just uninstalled this theme for reasons I won’t cover here. So I can’t give you specific instructions. But I’m thinking everything your wanting to do is included with the preset options. From your main WP admin page you should see theme name and a link to settings. Explore this area = which can be time consuming – for what your wanting to change. If you would have had this issue just a week sooner I could have been more helpful sorry.

The official forum can be less than a pleasant experience in my opinion.

Can you be a bit more specific? What is the “index post in the middle”?

Drop-down menus can be handled two ways. One is described by means of a video tutorial here: https://aquoid.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=748#p13668.

Another would be to build a WP Menu from Appearance → Menus. You can nest pages etc as you desire in your menu, then set that menu to appear in the “Main” location from the same screen.
