Messed up my php…now locked out of wp account and site! Help…

    Ok so I am trying to get verified and had to add a metatag:

    <meta name=”norton-safeweb-site-verification” content=”jpe21grzamcmzczcx42ivi3waby3v5pw147a-37plw70b77gb6h26a1cbwkyjs5fwkljpw25h48b2t96hpslh7qkay80zrr7yb9jc77uhvu6wx-xmooqjc0velm1ol2k” />

    in the <head> section of my homepage. Except I am new to this and using the thesis theme so in my php there is no <head>.

    so I copied and pasted the above and put it after my header hook.

    Then everything broke!!!

    I now cannot access my wp account and my site displays this:

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘<‘ in /home/peaches/public_html/wp-content/themes/thesis_182/custom/custom_functions.php on line 16

    the url is https://www.withmud.com

    what should I do to ressolve this?
    I have deleted the maintenance folder with to luck.
    should I change permissions to 777? please help eek!
