[Plugin: Widget Paginator] Pagination does not work?

Zweegmpa, your custom theme uses different code than the standard wordpress themes. We just released an update of the Widget Paginator, which works with themes like yours, too.

Does not work on a test blog (no other plugin, Twenty Ten)…

easily explained:
a pagination will of course only be shown, if there are more elements in the list than the number of elements you want on each widget page.

you have 3 links in recent posts, and you also set 3 to be shown on each page. hence, a pagination is useless, as there is only on page.

you either need more links in recents posts, or you can reduce the setting to 1 or 2.

OK, I just understood the philosophy of the plugin: I have to choose a number lower than the numbers of total posts put in the widget. A little confusing but it’ OK now…

Well, your plugins is presented as a way to paginate Recent widget. As I use plugins what paginated recent comments and posts, I thought it will give the same result: paginate ALL comments or posts. But it paginate ONLY the total number of items declared in the widget. You should explain that, it’s not obvious – well, it was not for me ??

thanks for your feedback.
Why don’t you find it obvious – the plugin name itself tells, that only WIDGETS content is paginated.
Comments and posts are seen in the main area, WIDGETS of various kind (also able to comments and posts) appear in sidebars.
That is why we named the plugin “WIDGET paginator”, and why the description says “This plugin lets you add a stylable pagination for the WIDGETS *** …”
Am I misunderstanding you?

Well, I suppose the concept did not fit my needs, so I was surprised. But it’s not a problem ?? The plugin works as it should and it’s OK for me.
