• I’m helping a friend with a new site and something has got screwed up. A couple of days ago I upgraded to 3.2.1 and installed a plugin to translate the dashboard depending on the default language of the browser being used when you login (my friend’s wife is Polish).

Today he told me that the site looks strange. On investigation I found that it looks fine in Chrome but in IE and FF the theme didn’t appear to be recognised, so I changed the theme to twentyeleven and now in FF it looks fine but in IE it still looks like there is no theme at all, just the content listed down the page. I have tried on several computers with different versions of Windows and IE

I have deactivated ALL plugins and it made no difference so I have left them deactivated for now until I can find potential solutions. Please take a look at https://www.edislim.com and let me know if you have any suggestions.

    Thanks.

Thanks for that. Any suggestions why 5 PCs in 3 locations might be displaying the site in IE8 & IE9 like it is an .rtf file?

I now have also found a Vindows XP system with IE7 where it looks fine but 1 / 6 isn’t good.

If more people could check the site and post how it looks that would be appreciated. Hopefully somebody else will see what I’m seeing and help me resolve it.

You may want to try viewing the site on IE in Compatibility mode. Another thought is that the site may have “mixed content” and the CSS file is being blocked as insecure content on a secure page.
