Comments not working

  • Hi guys,

    I apologize if this has been answered before. I searched through the archives and couldn’t find my answer. Maybe I just wasn’t searching for the right terms.

    I have a new installation of WordPress. One thing that doesn’t appear to work regardless of my template is my comments. I get a link that says “No Comments >>”. When I click that it just takes me to the actual post. It doesn’t allow me to comment.

    I have double checked my settings.

    My posts have: “allow comments” and “allow pings” checked
    My options -> General
    I UNchecked “Users must be registered and logged in to comment “
    My options -> Discussion
    I have CHECKED “Allow people to post comments on the article”

    I’m not doing blacklisting or anything else.

    I’ve checked in both IE and Mozilla so I know that it isn’t a browser specific problem.
