Private posts accessible publically after upgrade to 1.5.1.3

    After upgrading to 1.5.1.3 I got all my posts, marked as “private”, displayed publically… And the marking of posts as private stopped working. They still get marked “private” in the database. And the “draft” marking is still working with no problem.

    Anyone had this problem? What could be the cause? Which files do I have to try resubmitting? Any ideas?

  • Yep – give us a link to a private post and let us try to see it.
    This upgrade will not have affected this part of WP.

    Ooooops…. actually, I missed the point. The private posts do remain private, only, before that I was not able to see the private posts via the front-end, and could not preview them, except for the backend footer.

    And now I can. I logged off, and the private posts vanished.

    So, the upgrade (from 1.5.1 to 1.5.1.3, I guess) actually FIXED a previous problem, that I got so accustomed to…

    Conside this problem solved.
