Hi Trevor, by default only users with the admin role can access the settings. Are you using an admin? Do you have any member or user management plugins installed?

I am not sure why but it has now let me in, I have not changed anything.

    Thank you for your help.

What do you mean, on the dashboard? The Slides menu in the admin menu?

    Hi

It does not show on the menu just as a widget

First thing I would do is deactivate any other pluins you are running to rule out a conflict. What theme are you using?

Hi there, I am also getting this error message.

I installed Meteor Slides for the first time about 10 minutes ago. It is to replace WordPress Gallery Slideshow 1.5.7. I immediately went to click ‘Settings’ but got an error message “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page”.

I have deactivated all other plugins (Contact Form 7, Page Links To, and Clean Archives Reloaded) and I still get the error.

    Any ideas? Thanks.

Edit: Nevermind, fixed this by upgrading WordPress to 3.3.1.
