The links on tales. are pointing to https://www.procyontales.com/

Are you use a plugin like wp sitewide tags?

I use Page links to, if that has got anything to do with it?
How do I change this so that it will point to tales.?

https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/page-links-to/ you mean? (ALWAYS link to the plugin so we don’t have to guess ?? )

It’s failing because the link is wrong. You have to point it to the right URL for that to work.

Ah, I should’ve thought of linking the plugin… :$ Yes, that’s the one.

I’m sorry, but I don’t really know where change to this so that it points to the right URL. I understand that the link is wrong, but where do I change it, and to what?

I don’t either. Never used that plugin (and I’m not really sure if it’s MultiSiteable, but that shouldn’t matter).

Where is that you’re adding that link in? I mean, how does it know what OTHER url to point to?

I have no clue at all, I’ve never changed the link of the comments page. Maybe it has something to do with the permalinks, because if I change the structure to default the comments page sends me back to homepage. Dunno if that helps to know? ??

In Link to page, you create a new page and give that the url you want it to point to, I used it to create the menu, but I can’t change the comments section link in it. I guess it got screwed up somehow when I made it a multisite..?

In Link to page, you create a new page and give that the url you want it to point to,

If you change the URL a post/page points to, then it changes the URL for comments too, that kind of makes sense…

WHY are you doing this, though? The idea of MultiSite is multiple separate sites. If you want to cross-link posts, there are better plugins.

I wanted the link to tales. in the top menu on procyontales, and I wanted the home button on tales. to point to procyontales, so someone suggested this plugin.

Whomever made that suggestion wants you to do things the hard way. Sheesh.

Does your theme support the WordPress menus? If so, make a menu item called ‘home’ and link it where ever you want.

    (@syntium)

Unfortunately, the theme doesn’t support wp menus, so I don’t really know what to do.
Is there another plugin that can do what I want?

Editing menus isn’t that hard in a theme, and that’s something that should be included in all modern themes. Meh.

Well. LEt’s be certain. Turn off the plugin and see if your links work again.

Ok, so I changed the theme, and got the menu working, but the commenting on tales. still doesn’t work. I have also deactivated the plugin.

Whatever you did on https://tales.procyontales.com/ to make those POSTS link to procyontales.com is why this is screwed up.

I don’t know what you did :/ You may need to delete those two posts and make a new one.

I’m not sure exactly what I did, but I updated the site’s settings and now, somehow it works!

    Thanks for your help!
