WP-Admin suddenly gives error 500.

  • Hi,

    My wordpress site has been running for about a week – not that I have done much with it. Last night I was adding categories, however when I went to log in this morning I started to get error 500 just after login into the admin area.

    I’ve got no plugins activated and, I’m using the default theme.
    I’ve tried adding a php.ini file and adding a php memory line to wp-config but nothing happens.

    After looking at https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/500-internal-server-error-wp-admin-only I have got rid of the Error 500 – but my admin area is now just a white page with…
