• I am in WordPress track for quite a time. I hope this first request of mine can be useful for you guys. I am not good at programming nor know well about the technical so please excuse me for any mistake I’ve made.

Another systems for example, Operating System, had basic UI defined to the boot so it easier for designers to do a theme and programmers to do functional things to make them match. I think the idea might work for wordpress too.

If wordpress had some basic UI design defined, for example you guys define a standard button class ‘stdButton’, all tell the theme makers to do the css with the class supported and then the one who doing modify or plugins would know that <div class=’stdButton’> produce standard buttons so there should be no more ugly plugin UI with attractive functionality.

Also, if there were also standard shortcode defined that way would be great.

PS. I really wanna see the theme an admin area match if it possible.

Possibly, but that would require a level of oversight WP doesn’t have the staff for.

Is it possible if an outsider like me would offer one in the future ?

I am a freelancer whom buy a theme and modify to match the client needs and serve on my server. If the standard was to made, it would be also a gain to me.

I’m learning in depth of WP structure and will let you guys review a sample. (If I could)
