• Originally when I installed to my domain it was uploaded to https://example.com/wordpress. I wanted to move my wp files to my root directory, but obviously didn’t read first to see exactly how easy this really is.

    In the Settings area, in the box for WordPress address (URL): I changed it to my root. Example: https://example.com/

    Then, I also changed the box for Site address (URL): changed the address to the root directory’s URL. Example: https://example.com

    Clicked Save Changes.

    I received this error:

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_VARIABLE in /home/content/32/7448932/html/wp-content/plugins/gravityforms/gravityforms.php on line 79

    Now, the site is available to the public, but no one can sign in. Since I changed both to the root, I cannot access the admin area in example.com/wordpress directory either because after Login it points to the root…
