[Plugin: WP LaTeX] German Umlauts [??ü]

Normally you do something like \”a in latex to show German Umlauts like ?. But this doesn’t work with this plugin.
Is there a possibility to add this function in the next update?
It would be very usefull for us Germans ??Thanks!
