Direct/Library image title/alt insertion/change

  • I have about 700 images spread around the pages of my large site. It’s about time I really got down to checking and amending all of their title/alt words (individually).
    Is there any way I can do this through the Media Library, or a plugin, or do I have do each page, each image one by one?
    I did try changing/updating an image in the M.L but there was no change to the page/image where it was actually used.
    Any help/feedback very gratefully received. Thanks.

  • You can use a plugin such as “Search and Replace” to edit the HTML in all posts/pages. Can be a bit tricky to get right and needs backup and careful testing.
