[Plugin: Post Page Associator] Followed instructions. Did not work for me.

Unfortunately “it does not work” is not a useful error description. ?? Some more details?

Followed the setup/configuration instructions for the plugin. Associated “IRS Info” category with “IRS Info” page.

When I displayed the “IRS Info” page, all it said was:

“Placeholder text for IRS Info page” – the posts associated with the IRS Info category did not display on the IRS Info page.

Thus, it does not work. PHP version is 5.2.17.

Which Selection Mode did you choose? Did you select a template? Which Theme do you use? Which other Plugin do you use? Did you try to deactivate them?

* Select posts by category, Selection mode: Add to my selection: All posts which are at least in one of the following categories.
* Checkmarked “IRS Info”
* Select posts by tags, Selection mode: Do not care about tags.
* Select posts by author, Selection mode: Do not care about authors.
* Select posts explicitly (Additionally to your Selection.) I tried it with Sample Post 1 and Sample Post 2 uncheckmarked and checkmarked.

A known problem with thesis. Can you send me your theme please?

I think I got it figured out.

My permalink structure was “/%category%/”

When I changed it to “/%category%/%postname%/” then it started to work!

I was looking at the “Introduction” page that listed my 5 sample posts that were categorized under the “Introduction” category. When I clicked on the name of the Post, nothing happened. Whenever I hovered over the Post name, the URL did not change. It stayed as https://www.website.com/introduction/ instead of https://www.website.com/introduction/sample-post-1/

I will test it further. If all goes well, I will upgrade to the Pro version next week.

Hm, yes, the permalink structure should always contain the post id or the post slug. ??

I wanted to attach Posts of a specific Category to a Page. Does not work. No posts are shown. It used to work before.

You did something wrong. The plugin works. ??

It worked when I changed permalink structure to “/%postname%/.

However, it does not paginate. My normal posts in all other options are paginating properly but not those linked to a Page I have linked a category and all posts are showing up fine.

Pagination is not included in the free version. -.-

I use WP-Paginate. Will the pro version paginate itself or use this plugin ? I would like to buy.

The WP-Paginate Plugin can only paginate Archive pages not multi page contents. Associated Posts Pro uses the themes multi page pagination and not the archive page pagination.
