    I’ve got the jw player installed and working on a post. However, I noticed that the plugin is generating open graph (og) tags for the video. This is a problem because I already have og tags generated for the entire post. I want those for the post to be the only og tags. By having both, I’ve noticed that Facebook and Google+ both grab the wrong og information because there are duplicate og tags. I’d like to completely disable JW player from adding og tags. Is this possible?

    Solved this…

    Under the “custom fields” for the post, there’s an entry for jw player. If you want to lose the tagging, then you can delete this entry. It doesn’t seem to impact how the player works in any other way.

    Yes, that solution would certainly work. I should note that the next version of the plugin will have an option to turn this functionality off.
