looking for: way to switch between different page templates in frontend

  • hey all,
    i’m implementing a modified twentyten theme for this site:
    https://www.freiesgrafikdesign.de

    The archive page now lists all posts with a leading thumbnail. The admin wants a parallel version with some sort of gallery, very much like here.

    problem: how can i have the reader switch (maybe with a button or link list) between the two versions of this very same page?

    i was thinking to adjust a multilanguage plugin to do this, since it is essentially what i would need and since i could not yet find any plugin or hack doing this. but even those only usually exchange the text, not the page template. or i would need to incorporate other ways to adjust the layout on the page level…

    anyway, any comments appreciated ??
