• I am using a fresh install of 3.1.4, Buddypress 1.2.8 and Activity Plus.

When uploading a Video URL or Link URL, after entering the link, if I press enter it returns the error “Please enter some content to post”. (the only way to make the link work is to “click” the mouse outside the link box).

Clearly, hitting the return key is trying to post an update message, rather than the link, which is resulting in this error.

Please can you tell me how to fix this?

Also, the words “Paste link here” do not disappear when the box is clicked in – is there a way to make this happen?

Unfortunately, I cannot use later versions of WordPress or Buddypress as other plugins won’t work with another combination.

    Thanks

    Rob G

  • I noticed the same issues using BuddyPress 1.5.1

Hi Fanoop. I took this question over to the WPMU developers and they have now created an update so the enter key now works; plus it has a loading gif too.
I’ve tested it on 1.5.1 and it works.
