• hello!

I recently set up buddypress via wordpress.
Last login I was able to go to the wp dashboard to add new pages, activate themes and plug ins etc etc
Now when I login to my buddypress site I can’t see the dashboard option at all. I am logged into the buddypress site, but i can’t change anything in the wp back end, because there’s no dashboard link to take me there.

Can anyone help me resolve this?
    thanks

  • Now when I login to my buddypress site I can’t see the dashboard option at all.

Do you mean you can’t find the link “Dashboard” in the BP Adminbar or something else? When you say you cannot change anything in the backend, do you mean it’s white screen or something else?

    thanks for your reply mercime

what i want to do is actually disable the buddy press theme altogether, and use my headway themes for the site instead. How do I do this when I can’t get back to the wordpress “back end” to change the themes being used?

i can’t seem to login to the wordpress site to change which themes are used for this domain. I can only go straight to the site using buddypress with no option to change any setting of themes or delete themes, or change themes etc.

What I can see when I login to the site is what seems to be the admin for the buddy press site settings etc – not the backend where I can select the theme the site is using (ie: buddy press, or headway etc)

    any help is much appreciated.
