[Plugin: Edit Flow] Feature Request: Editorial Comments for feedback

  • First of all, thank you so much for what has so far been a very useful plugin. We host a multi-author blog, which is written mainly by our student interns as part of their skills development and I use your plugin to assign blogs and I particularly like the Editorial Comments feature. I recognise that this feature is intended for communication during the creation of the post, but it would be very useful to me, as Editor, if I were able to provide feedback to the students on their blog post using this feature. The reason this currently isn’t possible is that I have them set up as Contributors and don’t want to allow them to edit their posts after they have been published, which means that they then can’t get onto the Edit page to view their feedback.

    Is there any chance that this feature will be developed in the future to somehow allow users to view and respond to their editorial comments without being able to edit content on the post?

    Awesome to hear you like the plugin ?? This is a great suggestion… we’ll think a bit about how it might be implemented, and consider the issue for a future version of Edit Flow.
