retrieving content from backup folders

  • My site had a virus and I didn’t have a backup. I have since downloaded all the files and removed the files that contained the virus. However this means I’m unable to upload the files back due to the deletions.

    This doesn’t bother me as long as there is a way to retrieve the content. Whereabouts would it be kept, as in which folder? I thought it would be kept in wp-content or something.

    Would really appreciate help on this.
