• Hello there.

I need help because I am really going to explode as I can’t understand what is the problem with this matter.

From 2 days (I guess as soon as I update?) I can’t do the same things within my blog admin page (i tried with safari, firefox and chrome but is the same):
*I can’t add pics to post because as soon as I press “Add image” on post editor then nothing happen (or a new page open and i can just upload to gallery).
*I can’t move my widgetswhere I want them. It is like the computer doesn’t recognize them.

It is really frustrating because I can’t do nothing. Some help?

    Grazie! Thanks!

I guess it is because of the last version of wordpress. I didn’t had this issue before, and another blog I am running works good (but the version is a bit older!). Anyone now how to resolve this? I’m sure a lot of people have this issue.

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress.

I have tried all of these steps.

In the end my resolution was to revert back to the previous version of WordPress. This is the only thing that resolved it.

if you cant get that working you could always try the beta version of WordPress 3.3. this has a new uploader in it and resolved the issue for me the full version should be out in november.

Remember this is Beta though so could have a few bugs of its own, best bet is to revert to an older version for a live site.

Here is the link for the beta version https://www.ads-software.com/news/2011/10/wordpress-3-3-beta-1
and here is the link for the previous version that works fine for me.

    Hope this helps!

To me it worked with deactivating all plugins. Now I can enjoy the new version (I hope). I hope it will work also with other people, but anyway I noticed there are also other problems related with mac and the new version of wordpress.
If they occurs I will let you know, also if I find solutions ??

    Have a nice day!

I run MAC and have several blogs that I manage and all are 3.2.1 version so it is not related to MAC.

Understand that sometimes plugins that are installed in older versions of WP may not be 100% compatible with the upgraded versions of WP so to see if plugins are causing the issue you will need to deactivate all of them and test, then activate one by one until you find the one that is causing your issues.

Remember also to try Firefox for Mac if you think that maybe safari is causing the issues, I can’t use safari with one of my online banking websites, it just won’t work so I use firefox for most everything except general navigation on the web.
