• Hey Support

My website uses some copied php code to show me the posts of my blog in an iframe (yes yes i know) on my site

    https://www.mjacksonfolio.co.uk (Click “Blog”)

But after getting my ISP to update my database to PHP 5, I can no longer connect to my blog. The posts still show on the site so i know the database is working. But the blog is no longer there (www.mjacksonfolio.co.uk/blog) and When i try to log in through WP-Admin it just blanks my entries, not allowing me access.

I tried a completely clean install of WordPress to my FTP. The problem still exists. I have no idea why I can’t log on…It won;t even reset my password via “lost password”. Again it just flickers and reloads the page when hitting “send”. Without access to the Dashboard I cannot update my wordpress (which was the whole reason for this dibocal in the first place ??

    Any ideas?

  • Hi udapud,

Have you looked in your error log to see if theres any errors that may be causing the blog to not display correctly? I would FTP into the site and disable all plugins and reset the theme to the default as well.

Let me know how this turns out for you. Thanks!

Thanks for the reply Tim, Where does the error log get saved to?

    Hi udapud,

It really depends on how your server is set up. If you are using a cPanel based linux server there’s an icon in cPanel for it. Otherwise you may want to contact your host to find out how to view the error log.

    I hope this helps!
