Post password not working

When I set a post with a password – I can see the page via a link without having to enter the password.

I first tried using a plug-in and it worked initially and then stopped working. Then I found that Word Press has it built in. But even though I log out of admin mode and clear my history and cache or even come in a different browser – I can still see the page I am trying to hide from the public.
