    Hello,

Great plugin that seems to work very well.

One very big problem … Since installing it’s made my WP dashboard inoperable. All scrips have stopped working. eg, drop down menu.

Also all Dashboard feeds have stopped working. eg WordPress news. There is a new AW updates feed, which I believe is conflicting heavily with this the dashboard.

How can I turn off AW updates on the Dashboard? Again, I can’t access any drop down menu’s.

Disabling Socializer brings everything back to normal again.

Thanks for trying the plugin… I hear the same issue from some people. But i didn’t experience the problem personally. So i am unable to figure out the problem. If you think, that the dashboard widget is a problem, then you can remove it easily.

    1. Open wp-socializer.php file
    2. Comment or delete the line no 1533

I also heard that this happens only when using Firefox 3.6.x
Please try in other browsers also.

    Thanks Aakash,

    That worked perfectly.

For your reference I was using Chrome, when this problem occurred.

Aakash, that dashboard issue has come back since upgrading to the latest version of wp-socializer.

Line 1533 has changed too I think.

Could you please let me know what line in wp-socializer.php to delete on the latest version? Or what piece of code?

    Got it, Line 1531

    add_action('wp_dashboard_setup', 'aw_dashboard_setup');

Please correct me if I am wrong

Hello Dave, the line 1531 is correct. I wonder why this issue happen. What browser you are using ? or can you please post the screenshot of the dashboard ?

    I’m using Chrome, latest build.

Interestingly I tried to replicate this on a mirror site, on a different server and could not duplicate the issue.

It could be a quirk on my hosts side. Or on caching.

In which case I’m note sure about the value of following it up as it doesn’t seem like there are others with the same issue?

Nice plugin BTW, well done. Seems like a lot of effort went into it. Might be worth submitting it to https://www.battleoftheplugins.com/

I too didn’t experience issues from others and as you said yes, i spent hours and hours in designing this plugin for all in one social sharing purpose and came out really well and seems like many people are enjoying it !!!

    Thanks for introducing https://www.battleoftheplugins.com/ !!
