Right Sidebar not Working on State of Mind theme

Hi everyone, the author of the theme has shut down her site so I can’t contact her. I just installed State of Mind on my blog and it’s everything I want in a theme EXCEPT that I can’t modify the right sidebar. When I go to “Widgets” under Appearance it will let me drag and drop widgets into the sibear (sidebar 2) but even after saving them and refreshing they don’t show up on the blog. The blog shows only my most recent posts and my tags in the right sidebar, apparently by default since I didn’t add them AND they don’t show up in the sidebar when I’m editing it under “Appearance.” Please help – any suggestions??
