WordPress archives links are broken

Hi Experts,

We have an existing wordpress site 3.0.2 running on centos fine. I tried importing the Mysql tables from the working wordpress site to a new linux virtual machine on my laptop and then setup wordpress 3.0.2 on it and corrected home and siteurl values to the new domain name. However when I tried to access the archives on the wordpress site the links are found to be broken.
Do we need to do any additional settings on the admin panel for the links to make it work. I see that these are picked from the DB rather than on the apache document root.
