[Plugin: Google XML Sitemaps] Index pdfs

  • I am using WordPress primarily as a CMS and I want to create a sitemap that includes pdf documents, since they are a part of my content, and since Google can index them.

    Even though these pdfs are linked into my WP web from static pages, the XML Sitemap Generator for WordPress 3.2.6.2 (aka Google (XML) Sitemaps Generator for WordPress, aka Google XML Sitemaps for qTranslate) won’t include them unless I specifically list them under Additional Pages. That is an extra step that my website editors will have to take whenever they upload pdfs.

    Is there a way to have these pdf documents automatically included? Like under Sitemap Content / Custom Page Types / pdfs?
