404 error/site url/admin/no database access

Hi Everyone:

I have the case of mistakenly changing the site url (like some has in this forum) and can no longer access the admin page. I browsed through the solutions, but the issue is that I don’t have access to the site’s root files/database/host. The site is a school club site that got transferred to me and no one knows who has the login to the aforementioned files. Therefore all the suggestions 1) https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Changing_The_Site_URL 2) https://www.tamba2.org.uk/wordpress/site-url/ doesn’t help as much.

I just want to change back to the old url. The site is https://babsonmarketingcasecompetition.com/2011/. I originally wanted to change it to https://babsonmarketingcasecompetition.com and that obviously didn’t work.

Is there anyway I can just revert back to the old setting without having to desperately figure out how to access the root files?

Please help! I’m a newbie. =-(
