Using Featured Images

Hey guys,

Due to some serious technical issues with my previous hosting company, I had to move to another hosting company. For the most part everything is up and running just fine but I am having an issue with featured images when using posts.

I can embed images into posts and pages just fine. But I cannot use an image as a featured image. I just watched and attempted the method outlined by Elegant Themes on the 13Floor documentation and now I see a URL where the image should be displayed.

Before changing hosting companies, the featured image couldn’t have been simpler. I would edit/add a post, click on “set featured image” then selected the desired image, click “set as featured image” then saved and update/publish the post. Worked flawlessly.

Here’s the site: https://www.madsenstudios.com. When looking over the site you’ll notice that the first post “And we’re back!!” displays the image URL but the very next post “New Orchestral theme posted” doesn’t display anything. The first post used the method detailed in the Elegant Themes tutorial video, the second post used the method I explained in the above paragraph. You can see neither work right now.

Now nothing I try seems to work. What’s strange is that all other tweaks, edits and changes I made to the theme before changing hosting companies are intact. It’s just this one issue. Any ideas?

I’ve contacted the theme creator but also felt it might be helpful to reach out to this community to see if anyone has faced this issue and had a possible fix.
