[Plugin: Simple Facebook Connect] FanBox Stories Stream not working correclty

    I’ve been using SFC for a year or so now and it’s awesome. However, a while back the Fan Box Widget stopped pulling the current wall posts from our Fan Page. I was hoping the update to 1.1 would magically fix it but no dice. I’ve double & tripple checked the App ID, API Key, & the Fan Page ID. The Fans show up, the logo shows up, but the Stories Stream only has 3 entries from months ago.

    It’s got to be something I’m doing wrong but I can’t figure it out. Please help.

    Unfortunately, there’s no way to debug this sort of thing. Facebook generates the contents of the Fan Box, it’s not made by the plugin. And AFAIK, there’s no way to “adjust” those contents in any way.

    Hmm…Bummer. So is there a sub-plugin of SFC that will grab the recent Wall activity of a fanpage and display it?

    I’m having the same problem, so if I’m correct there is no way around this, and the problem lies with fb? I see sonic you have just the fb avatars now and not the stories

    Unfortunately, I never found a solution so I just removed the stories for now.

    I am having the same problem: Fanbox shows Likes and Faces OK, but Stories Stream is blank. Also the Activity Feed widget produces “no recent activity to display”. Same problem with all the competing WordPress Facebook widgets – have tried four of them. All privacy settings are set to maximum permissiveness at the Facebook end.

    I’m having the same problem, the strange part is that the stream is only stuck when I’m logged into Facebook, as soon as I log out from Facebook, I do see the updates.
    I also contacted FB about this, but they don’t give support ??
    Is there a way to find out what is going wrong?
