same post published two times

Have you posted this on their forum, they might have a solution for this.

I have installed the Bombax theme, have you tried to change the theme’s settings i.e. go to Appearance >> Bombax theme options >> Front Page >> under Layout change the settings under Display type in home page:

This might resolve your problem.

Thanks, but that’s exactly what I had done, but the post is stil displayed two times: as a feature and as an excerpt. I just want it as a feature.

That worked for me although I only have to post on my testing platform……

Thanks. I understand, but the point is that I don;t want “traditional” layout. I want a “feature and excerpts” layout while avoiding to have the same post displayed two times on the frontpage : as a featured post and as an excerpt. Did you try setting the “feature and excerpts” layout and see if the featured psot also get displayed as an excerpt on the frontpage?

I will try that option and see what happens. I will report back soon

Yes I can see double on your site. I think the best option is to get in contact with the theme developers and ask them. The only solution to this problem might be a bug in their design or you would have to create or edit the php code and create a rule to display only once if you choose “feature and excerpts” which is what you want.

Unfortunately I am not a php developer although I am learning more and more each time.
