• Does anyone know the trick to using ampersands in the “navigation label” field for wordpress menus? I’ve tried using &-a-m-p-; (without the dashes, of course) but it still just shows up as a normal & which then gives me validation errors. I’ve tried searching the forum and google but I can’t seem to find anything specific about using them in wordpress menus. Any ideas?

  • I’ll be honest…. I wouldn’t worry about it. The validator is just a guide. A variety of things will drop ampersands into your source, image links sometimes, plugins, etc. The validator will whine about all of em.

Yeah, I agree with you. The problem is that I keep getting clients that plug their site url into that w3c validator and then complain. ??

I was just wondering if anyone else ran into this.
