• Hi – hope you can help

I have 3 domain names registered with 123reg
domainA – to be the primary domain name
    domainB
    domainC

with all A records pointing to the IP address of a shared server with Zen Internet 88.98.24.27. I have 301 redirected Domain B and C to Domain A at 123reg and this is working fine.

I have a cPanel (linux) account on this shared server, with 3 different websites all hosted in subfolders e.g.
sharedserver/subfolder1 – this is the WP site I want to point to
    sharedserver/subfolder2
    sharedserver/subfolder3

I now want to point Domain A to sharedserver/subfolder1 and keep domain A in the address bar. it redirects to sharedserver/subfolder1 correctly *BUT* it shows sharedserver/subfolder1 in the address bar.

How can I tell my sharedserver or WP installation that I want Domain A to remain in the address bar?

    Help? Anyone?
    Thanks
    Adam

I presume I require a htaccess rewrite piece of code – placed at sharedserver level?
But will the domain find what it is redirecting TO, if the htaccess is telling the system to change that very name?
