    Hello WordPress friends,

I’m running into a very strange issue with an installation of WordPress that I am responsible for. I have been an avid WordPress developer for years now, and this one has stumped me. I have read every post I can find on the WordPress forums and elsewhere (Stack Overflow, various queries typed in to search engines) and unfortunately so far have come up with nothing that has worked for me.

The problem: Media uploader (whether it be the Flash- or HTML-based uploader) does not work at all in Mac OS X, in every browser. It does, however, work on every other operating system I have available. Chrome, Firefox, and Internet Explorer within Windows XP and Windows 7 all display the Flash- and HTML-based media uploader correctly. I am using the latest version of Flash on my client system, and have the latest stable PHP, MySQL, and Apache builds running on the server. WordPress is version 3.2.1.

My thoughts: I’m thinking it could be at the client end. The server itself appears to be completely correct; permissions, file ownership, and groups are all correct, ie. 0644 for files, and 0755 for folders. Has anyone ever run into a problem like this with Mac OS X?

Thankyou in advance for your time, this one has stumped me.
