I have followed all the trouble shooting tips and removed all known plug in conflicts, but I still can’t get my Events page to work. My Events page is https://pggolf.org/wp/?page_id=573. It displays my event with Hyperlink, but when you click the event link it does not generate my registration form.

I don’t know if it makes a difference or not, but Word Press did not automatically create an events page when I loaded it in. I had used Espresso in the past, so not sure if there is some code not cleaned out.

I am very interested to see if this Event Manager will meet my needs, and I would consider paying the $75 for Pro to use Paypal integration, but got to get the free version working first.

i don’t think espresso would cause conflicts in v4 (admittedly, never tried it so can’t comment …. probably should eventually ;/)

note that the link you gave is broken, can’t see an events page.

ps, did you try enabling permalinks? should work without, but maybe it’ll help

    Sorry. Link is https://www.pggolf.org/wp/?page_id=573

I also noticed that there seems to be a conflict with the event attribute. I enabled in my settings, yet when i create my event the attributes section says i need to enable attributes in the settings to add attributes, such as my bookings form. Contradiction.

    Am i doing something wrong?

    Hi,

the link is still broken! can I ask if you received any error upon EM installation? and also can you try to uninstall and install again? and maybe enabling permalinks can help

yes, you need to add #_ATT placeholders into your formats (anywhere accepting event placeholders) for them to appear

if you could add an event widget there on the side it would help us find the page. link is broken

    Hello,

Would someone be able to provide some guidance how we can activate the registration form?

We are able to see the login form, but since we do not yet have an account on the test site and there is no registration form available next to the login form, we are unable to process event bookings.

Thank you in advance for your help.

PS: Do we need to install a membership plugin?

you need to enable guest registrations in your settings probably if you don’t get a booking form to guests.

Did you ever resolve? What was the solution?

given the age of this, I′m marking as resolved, if you′re getting a problem with the booking form, its probably a different issue so please create a new topic with more info on your issue (and a link if possible)
