• So, I’ve just been messing around on a vm and installed wordpress on IP/blog and had a static page as the main site. Afterwards I was looking for a new forum software and decided upon vanilla so I installed it with no issues but now my IP/blog site doesn’t work, or more specifically, the main page and post pages don’t work.

I can still access the Dashboard and create posts/pages without issue. I’m not sure where the issue is exactly (i.e. wordpress or vanilla) but if someone can point me in the right direction it’d be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

  • If you install wordpress and vanilla on the same directory, obviously those two will conflict each other.

I don’t know about vanilla but can you check your “index.php” files in the main directory? Does it belong to WordPress? My guess it’s already been overwrite by Vanilla and now serve Vanilla homepage instead of WordPress.
