Categories not showing

I’m using Crafty Cart 1.0.6 by Billion Studio with E-commerce plugin with the GOLD CART upgrade. I choose the “Categories” widget from the “widgets” option under theme to be shown on the main page. I made several products using the “Products” tab and made appropriate categories for them. However on the main page, there are no categories under the Category Widget. Instead they’re all found under “Product page” tab on the main page. Anyone help me please?
